Theresa "Terry" LiPuma, age 97, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026.
Terry was born in Buffalo, New York, and spent many years in the nearby suburb of Elma before relocating to Delray Beach, Florida in 1983. She embraced the sunshine and relaxed lifestyle of Florida and remained active and engaged in her community throughout her life.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Terry was known for her independent spirit, sharp wit, and warm personality. She had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went and maintained her independence, living on her own until the final days of her life.
Terry enjoyed an active and fulfilling life. She worked into her seventies and later dedicated her time as a volunteer at the Delray Beach Visitor Center, the Boynton Beach Senior Center, and the Schoolhouse Children's Museum. She loved traveling, especially to Europe and the Caribbean, and cherished the experiences and memories those journeys brought.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Terry was a passionate fan of the Buffalo Bills and followed the team faithfully each season. She also had a special love for animals and shared her home with many beloved cats over the years. Her cherished companion, Peanut, remained by her side through her later years.
In 2019, Terry moved to Bradenton, Florida, where she joined a retirement community and enjoyed an active lifestyle filled with social events, outings, and time with friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. Ervolina and Rose Ervolina; her husband, Frank LiPuma; and her beloved grandson, Nicholas LiPuma.
Terry is survived by her children: Thomas Dryja (Connie), Sam LiPuma (Kim), Richard LiPuma (Chong), and Francine O'Neill (David). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tracey Sobol (Michael), Thomas Dryja Jr. (Francina), and Shane O'Neill; and her great-grandchildren: Joseph Calabrese, Bostyn Sobol, Thomas Dryja, and Makayla Schwalm.
A private memorial service will be held later this spring.
