Thomas (Butch) P Hickey

"Butch" Thomas P. Hickey, 78 of North Aurora passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 due to a stroke. He was born in Chicago IL. On November 1st 1947 to Thomas and Beatrice Hickey. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Barbara. He leaves behind his two sons Michael (Vivian) Hickey and Ryan (Deanna) Hickey. As well as two grandsons Mateo and Aidan.
He had served in the Army after graduating from York High School. Upon returning home he worked at Delta airlines before eventually working at Fermi Lab where he would retire from.
He will be remembered as a good father and a great friend to all creatures big and small (invited or not). To those who knew him, raise up an "Old Style" in remembrance.
