Thomas (Tom) Paul DiMaggio, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, peacefully passed into heaven on January 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 24, 1950, in the Bronx, New York, Tom was the son of Charles and Gertrude DiMaggio. He spent his youth in Scottsdale, Arizona, a place he always held close to his heart. Tom proudly owned and operated his own landscaping business from the late 1980s through 2000, taking great pride in his work. He was also very proud of his Italian heritage.
Tom had the most infectious laugh. He loved cracking jokes and always had a smile on his face, no matter the circumstances. His love for his family was enormous—especially for his daughters, grandchildren, brothers (Charles, Joseph, and Michael), sister (Arlene), nieces, nephews, and friends.
He had a passion for life's simple joys: anything sweet (especially chocolate), Harley-Davidson motorcycles, singing along to his favorite music (The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, and Bob Seger), cigars, caramel frappuccinos, and Mexican food.
Tom is survived by his three daughters, Tiffany Schmidt (Jamie Schmidt), Alecia Hanus (Phil Hanus), and Ashley DiMaggio Ruiz, and his seven grandchildren, whom he adored beyond measure. He will be deeply missed for his liveliness, heartfelt conversations, love of life, and his gentle, loving spirit.
We love you, Dad.
