Thomas Arthur Ghiglia, born March 29, 1954, in Paterson, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2020, in Northridge, California, surrounded by family and friends. He bravely faced his battle with Multiple System Atrophy.
After completing his degree in kinesiology/PE from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Tom made his home in Atascadero, California. Known for his humble humor and Pied-Piper devotion of children and dogs, he brought laughter to all, even during challenging times. Tom was a devoted athlete and a passionate lover of football. He found joy on the golf course, cherished time spent with others, and cultivated a deep love for gardening and sharing his bounty.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Betty; siblings Jack (MK), Brian (Jenny), Betsy Heinmiller (Randy), Bray (Niloo), Janie Turner, and Chris; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph.
May Tom's memory bring comfort to all who knew him and inspire others to embrace life with the same enthusiasm he shared.
