Thomas H. Niles

Thomas H. Niles, age 80, of Plano, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Thomas was the beloved husband and soul mate of Jewel Niles and a devoted father to Adam (Toni) Niles, Holly (Luke) Eisenberg, Joy (Eric) Davis, and Justin Torres. He was a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren, all of whom were a great source of pride and joy in his life.

Thomas was a proud Army veteran. He worked for many, many years in maintenance. Retiring from Aurora Bearing after 20 years of dedicated service, where he was known for his reliability and strong work ethic.
In his personal life, Thomas enjoyed tinkering in his garage, walking in the woods, and spending meaningful time with his family.

Thomas will be remembered for his quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held at the Sandwich V.F.W., 713 S. Main St., Sandwich, IL on April 4, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
