Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Thomas (Tom) William Mast passed away peacefully in Guyton, Georgia, on February 21, 2026, at the age of 71. His life was filled with love, hard work, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to his wife of 33 years, Tammy.

Born on October 12, 1954, in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania, to Ellis Mast and Helen Prebosnyak, Tom graduated from Freedom High School and went on to build a successful career in Information Technology. A true jack-of-all-trades, he was admired for his integrity, dedication, and the respect he earned from colleagues and friends alike.

Music was one of Tom’s lifelong passions. A gifted guitarist, he could breathe life into any instrument he played. Tom performed in bands throughout his life, spending many memorable years as the guitarist for The Dr. Dick Band. Hearing him play was a joy and a privilege to those who knew him.

Tom also found great happiness in long motorcycle rides with Tammy, moments that reflected his sense of adventure and love of life. He was a loving father to Nicole and proud grandfather to Ryan Jacob (MaryAnna). He truly treasured every moment spent with them.

Tom is survived by his wife, Tammy; his daughter, Nicole; his grandson, Ryan Jacob (MaryAnna); his sister, Marlene; his best friend and furbaby, Quinn; his newly adopted pup, Mallie; and many cherished lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Helen, and his stepmother, Mae.

A celebration of life will be held in Pennsylvania in the summer of 2026 with details forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Operation New Hope, Savannah GA in Tom’s memory.

Tom will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, dry humor, and steadfast love. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the music he made, the lives he touched, and the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
