Thomas (Tom) Edsel Wallace

Thomas (Tom) Edsel Wallace Born on August 9, 1947 in Knoxville, TN passed away at home on November 7, 2025 at the age of 78. He was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Tom was a retired US Navy Veteran. He retired after 30 years from CUNA Mutual.

A loving and funny man whom everyone immediately fell in love with. He enjoyed golf, spending time on the lake with family and friends, his church family and most importantly his wife and many grandkids. After 40 years of golfing he was so excited to get his first hole in one (see picture).

Preceded in Death by his first wife Sheilah L. Wallace; second wife Sandra (Sandi) Hunt Ridenour Wallace; his parents Charles H. Wallace Sr. and Flora Dotson Wallace; Sisters Shirley Wallace and Phyllis Shype; brothers, Charles H. Wallace Jr., Joe A. Wallace, and James A. Wallace.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda Ferrell Wallace, Step-children Tracy Chapman (Cecil), Michael Lonker (Jaime), Jason Lonker (Tabitha). Many grand kids and great grand kids.

Stepson Jack Taylor (Christy); grand daughters, Bailey and Hope Taylor.

Stepdaughter Rachel Ridenour Jonsson (Bailey); grand daughter, Maddie Jonsson; Stepson Will Ridenour; several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

The family will have a private ceremony and there may be a Celebration of Life announced at a later date.
