Thompson Daryl Mahon

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Thompson Daryl Mahon, who left us on December 4, 2025, at the age of 60.

Tom was a husband, father, son, and brother whose presence filled the lives of those around him.

Born in Victoria, B.C., Tom spent much of his life working as an electrician at Raylec Power. He took great pride in his work—if it was broken, he’d fix it. He had a deep love for fishing, his boat, and anything outdoors.

Tom is survived by his wife of 27 years, Diane Mahon; his children, Jarrod (Mariah) and Taylor; his mother, Buchan; and his sister, Rena.

A “Big Ass” Celebration of Life will be held on February 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Courtenay Legion (Branch 17), 367 Cliffe Ave., Courtenay, B.C.

Friends, family, and those who share memories with Tom are welcome to attend and share their stories as we honour a life well lived.
