Timothy Burgess

Timothy Jerald "Burgy" Burgess, age 39, passed away on February 6, 2026, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Born on October 15, 1986, in Anchorage, Alaska. From 1996 to 2025 Tim called the Loveland, Colorado area home. In June 2025 he moved to Annandale, Minnesota. Tim brought warmth and laughter into the lives of those around him from the very beginning.

Graduating class of 2004, Golden, Colorado. Tim continued his education at Charles McClain Community College. He went on to build a career as a Journeyman Electrician, working with N Line Electric from 2007 to 2025 before joining Accent Electric in 2025. His commitment to his work was matched only by his dedication to those he loved.

Tim's life was centered around his family. He is deeply missed by his significant other, Jessica Mackedanz; his children Rylie (20), Cambria (18), Mason (17), and Audrina (14); and his bonus kids McKenzie (17), Rylan (15), and Averie (11). He is lovingly remembered by his mother Janice Burgess; siblings Sheridan Burgess and wife Amy with their children Brodie and Taylor; Jessica Oliver; Heather McKellar; Hannah Rambow; Cori Jacobs; and Chris Burgess. His memory is cherished as well by Kevin and Lori Blanchette, his in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his former wife Kara Blanchette; his father Clyde Burgess; and grandparents Leroy and Lucille Owens and Sheridan and Vivian Burgess.

Known for his friendly nature, genuine personality, and infectious smile, Tim had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued. His sense of humor and wittiness brightened every room he entered. Whether enjoying music, sharing a laugh over a favorite comedy or movie, or spending time camping under the stars, Tim embraced life with joy and authenticity.

A celebration of Timothy's life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at the South Haven City Hall, South Haven, Minnesota.

An additional memorial will be held in Colorado in March.
