It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our treasured older brother, Timothy Scott Early, on January 30, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on September 2, 1960, in Wilmington, Delaware, Tim grew up in Dover, Delaware, where he graduated from Dover High School in 1978. A veteran, Tim served six proud years in the U.S. Air Force. He then graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Joseph Seminary College in Saint Benedict, Louisiana in 1989, before completing his education at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, where he earned his Master of Science degree in 1998. From there he embarked on a dedicated and rewarding career in social work. The eldest of four, Tim was the type of devoted brother who had the ability to make everyone feel special. He was a loyal friend and a man with a heart full of kindness. Simply put, Tim was a good guy. His passions included reading and filling his beautiful home with nostalgic memories from his youth. He was preceded in death by his father, James Early, in 1992, and his mother, Catherine Early, in 2021. Tim is survived by his younger sister, Patricia, and two younger brothers, Gregory and Christopher. In addition, he is survived by two nieces, Sarah and Alex, and three nephews, Taylor, Shane and Sebastian.
