Was peacefully called home by God on January 15, 2026 at Brickyard Healthcare in Merrillville, IN. Tim as he was affectionately called was born on June 19, 1956 in Gary Indiana to the late Ida Hayman and Johnnie W. Johnson. He attended Roosevelt High School in Gary Indiana. He worked at Townsend Pontiac until becoming disabled. Tim loved sports and was very good at basketball and baseball. He loved to play bid whist, Dee Jay and play his music, cook and spend time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Sidney Johnson; sister, Anita Johnson and Grandchild, Jordan Hardy. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Tamika Howse of Gary, Indiana and Dominique Allen of Michigan; Sisters, Silvana (Henry) Blackburn of Gary Indiana, Loretta Johnson of Garland, Texas and Charada (Calvin) Gaskin of Indianapolis Indiana; brothers, Johnnie W. Johnson of Indianapolis Indiana, Travis (Jill) Hunt of Vincennes, Indiana, Miguel Hunt of Gary Indiana and Eric (Danielle) Hunt of Jacksonville Florida; Grandchildren, Harmoni Darlings, Ti'Onna Hardy and Jerome Hardy; nieces nephews, longtime friend Jesse Johnson other relatives and friends Tim will be missed.
