Send Flowers Plant A Tree
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tommy "Gagaw" Hart, age 77, of Hollister, California, who passed peacefully on October 10, 2025, following a brief illness, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on July 21, 1948, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Herbert and Covenia Hart, Tommy was raised with the values of hard work, kindness, and generosity — lessons she carried throughout her life and shared abundantly with others.

Those who knew and loved our Gagaw will remember her endless "Have I ever told you about the time..." stories, her welcoming presence, and her uncanny ability to say just the right thing when it mattered most. She had a rare gift for making others feel genuinely seen and valued. Her laughter could fill a room, and her steady wisdom and kindness brought comfort to all who knew her.

Tommy was the heart of our family — our encourager, our source of calm, and our greatest cheerleader. She celebrated every joy and stood beside us through every challenge. Her love was boundless, her spirit radiant, and her generosity endless. Simply put, to know her was to be loved.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Nicole, and Dennis; her grandchildren Bailee, Kohen, Michael, and Hallie; her brothers Phil (Sandy) Hart and Skip (Joan) Hart; her nieces and nephews Tommy, Taylor, Jonny, Cameron, and Nick; her sister Kay Koster; and her dearest friend, Susan Halstead. All of them will carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and strength. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Herbert and Covenia Hart.

Though our hearts ache with her passing, we are profoundly grateful for the years we were blessed to share with her and for the countless memories that will forever remind us of her humor, grace, and warmth.

A Celebration of Life will be held next spring, where family and friends will gather to honor her beautiful spirit and the love she gave so freely. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you support local artists — a nod to her lifelong appreciation for creativity and her joy in every arts and crafts fair she attended.
