Tony Cheng

Tony Cheng, 57, passed away at home on February 6, 2026. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a dear son and brother whose life was marked by dedication to his family and his work. Tony is survived by his wife, Rachael Ruibo Li, and his beloved son, Matthew, who was the center of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Get Yee Gong Cheng, and his two sisters, Sherry Cheng and Sandra Cheng, and nieces and nephew, who will deeply mourn his loss and cherish his memory. Tony was employed as a Forensic Department Associate at Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center, where he carried out his responsibilities with professionalism and a strong sense of duty. A very private man, he was known for his quiet dedication and integrity, earning the respect of his colleagues through his actions rather than words. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 13, 9 am-12 pm at Ng Fook Funeral Home in Manhattan's Chinatown, followed by a private burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens Queens.
