Tony Sambito

Tony (Anthony) Sambito, died at home unexpectedly on March 24, 2026. Tony was born to Anthony and Elizabeth Flynn Sambito in Leominster, Ma on November 20, 1952. He was a long time resident of Brattleboro, Vt. Tony worked as a Roofer and Carpenter for many years, employed by Dan Jenks of Finishline Construction for over 14 years, and most recently by Dave Ross at David Ross Builders before retiring in 2021. Several years prior he worked at Maple Valley Ski area.
Number one in his life were his family and friends. Tony's legacy will be his selfless, generous spirit, sense of humor, and his knack for bringing both to every relationship he had.
Tony is survived by his sister Betty and brother in law Joe Tetreault of Putney, Vt, his sister Sharon Sambito of Leominster, Ma, his sisters-in law Jayne and Eileen Sambito, brothers Michael and Steven Sambito-Carter of Florida, and several Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Kathy Reichert, and brothers Tommy and Jack Sambito of Leominster, Ma. and Butch Sambito of Florida.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, April 12th from 1 -5 pm at the Elks Lodge, 17 Putney Rd, Brattleboro, Vt.
There will be a private burial service in Leominster, Ma at a later date TBD.
