Tracy Richard Webb, 75, of Colchester, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025. He was born on November 9, 1950, at Kindley Air Force Base in Hamilton, Bermuda, to the late Richard and May Webb.
Tracy spent his early years as a military brat, living in England and France before settling near Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. There, he completed his education at Glendale High School and the University of Arizona. From an early age, he was known for his stoic nature, sharp intellect, and resilient spirit—qualities that remained with him throughout his life. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who also took great pride in his work and personal pursuits, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
In his younger years, Tracy sought adventure in the desert and mountains. In 1976, he and his wife, Candy, settled in West Texas, where he worked for Country Pride Foods and where they formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories with Lynn and Kyle Pipkin, JP and Tanna King, and their families. In 1980, the couple moved their young family to Alaska. Tracy made the initial journey with his father in a Jeep he had rebuilt with a close friend—an unforgettable adventure he often recalled with a smile.
Tracy and Candy eventually settled in Colchester, Connecticut, in 1988, where they built a beautiful home and raised their family. He dedicated 29 years of his professional life to Ecolab, where he made significant contributions as a territory manager. Outside of work, he was a voracious reader with a deep interest in history, science, and engineering. He enjoyed cooking and traveling to new horizons. A truly dedicated grandfather, Tracy spent countless hours with his grandchildren, imparting his wisdom, cherishing the boundless joy they brought him, and forging an everlasting impact on their character and future. He found the same profound joy spending meaningful time alongside Candy, with their wide circle of friends, including the Shea, Riberty, Garrity, Levine, Ducat, Turner, and Standish families, as well as many other wonderful friends and family.
Tracy is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Candace Webb; his eldest son, James Webb, his wife, Michelle, and grandson Carter; his daughter, Holly Coronado, and grandchildren Shaelynn and Odin. His sister Barbara (Patrick) McGauley; nieces and nephews Katie (Collin), Jennifer (Cody), Kyle (Demi), and Kevin; grandnieces Charlotte, Claire, Caroline, Finley, and Holly; and grandnephews Aidan, Owen, Ian, Jack, and Henry. Additional survivors include Keith (Joanie) Webb, Patti (Aaron) Welch, and the Camuse, Lepine, and Henin families, respectively.
