Trudy L Lucia

Trudy L. Lucia, aged 62, passed away on March 20, 2026, in Vero Beach, Florida after a brief and sudden illness.
Born on February 5, 1964, Trudy was a beacon of love and compassion, deeply committed to her faith. Her spirited presence and sociable nature left lasting impressions on everyone she met.
Trudy attended and graduated in 1982 from North Warren Central School and later pursued a varied career, working in insurance sales at MetLife, as a bartender at Len and Pegs, and as an associate at Dollar Tree. Her personal life was filled with joy from family and friends, vacations, reading, and engaging in card and dice games, especially enjoying visits to the casino. Trudy spent the majority of her life in upstate New York where she raised her family. She enjoyed Florida and moved there where she spent the last six years.
She leaves behind her daughter, Sarah McClure; grandsons Nathaniel Melucci and his wife Anna, Tyler and Ryder Meyers; granddaughters Faith McClure and Carsyn Cherry; brother George Lucia; sister Reba Johnson; brothers-in-law Ronald Craigie and Thomas Potter; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Lucia; son Lucas McClure; brother Robert Lucia; and sisters Dale Craigie and Susan Potter.
Family would like to thank VNA hospice and Palm Gardens in Vero Beach for the care they provided to Trudy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 12, 2026, from 3-6 pm at Beamers Pub, 70 South St, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
