Ursula Irene Faytak, age 88, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Providence Care Center in Beaver Falls, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 16, 1938, in Offenbach, Germany, and was the daughter of the late Emil and Christina (Allinger) Graber.
In addition to her parents, Ursula was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Fajtak, and her three brothers, Emil, Kurt, and Gerhard Graber.
She is survived by her children: sons Brian (Theresa) Fajtak, Mark (Tracie) Fajtak , and Keith (Nicole) Fajtak, and daughters Marsha Faytak and Ursula Potts. She was a proud and loving grandmother to ten grandchildren: Keith Fajtak Jr., Chrissy (Matthew) Olson, Justin Fajtak, Derek (Mackenzie) Fajtak, Kayleigh Gotto, Cassandra (Ryan) Smith, Morgan Campbell, Nevaeh Faytak, Noah Faytak, and Caden Cekoric. She was also blessed with eleven great-grandchildren, with three more arriving in 2026. She is also survived by extended family in Germany, who remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Ursula was a caring mother and a cherished grandmother who found her greatest joy in time spent with family. Family gatherings were never complete without her beloved recipes, especially her macaroni salad and her signature poppy-seed "brown cake." She loved extended family camping trips and riding her bike, swimming, and taking walks. She embraced life with energy and enthusiasm - she was known for her spunky personality and fun-loving spirit that instantly drew people to her. Her German accent was loved by all and will be remembered with a smile. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. A Catholic Blessing Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
