Valerie Lentini

Valerie Jean Lentini (Ciccone), age 76, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Venice, Florida. Born on May 3, 1949, in Somerville, Massachusetts, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arkiel and Ann Ciccone.

Valerie was an extraordinary woman whose warmth, kindness, and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed and loved, and her presence brought light and comfort to so many lives. Whether through her laughter, her compassion, or her unwavering devotion to her family, Valerie truly touched the hearts of all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Salvatore C. Lentini; her brother, Michael Ciccone; her sister, Patricia Button; her daughters, April Lentini-Comtois and Janelle Gavin; as well as her seven cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Arkiel and Ann Ciccone, and her brother, Philip Ciccone. Valerie also shared a special bond with her loyal dog, Rosie, who brought her immense joy and companionship.

Her memory will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her. May her legacy of love, kindness, and strength bring comfort and peace to all who mourn her passing.

Funeral services will take place on April 16 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, located at 1301 Center Road, Venice, Florida 34292.
