Valerie "Val" Stamper, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, in her hometown at the age of 76.
Born on October 26, 1949, in Saginaw, Val remained deeply connected to her roots throughout her life. She pursued higher education with dedication and purpose, earning her Bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and later completing her Master's degree at Saginaw Valley State University. Her academic achievements reflected a lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth.
Val was a cherished sister to Deb Spicer and James Stamper, Jr., and a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. She also shared a meaningful bond with her dear friends, Alarey Nelson and Don VanSteenkist. Val was preceded in death by her parents, Barb and James Stamper.
