Vicky Reeves Hofmeister

Vicky R. Hofmeister of Parkton, Maryland, passed away at home on January 27, 2026. Born in the Canal Zone, Panama, Central America, on March 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late LaVerna (Carter) and Clyde (Red) Reeves. She was married to Michael Hofmeister for 43 wonderful years. She is survived by their sons: Robert C. Brink, his wife Chrissy, and their son Jack; and Ryan M. Hofmeister and his two daughters, Meagan and Alyssa. She is also survived by her brother Clyde (Kim) Reeves and his two sons, James and David; her goddaughter Katie Ragonese, her husband Sam, and their two daughters, Emma and Olivia; many cousins from Western Pennsylvania to as far south as Florida and anywhere in between; and, of course, many loved friends. Vicky was a thrift store shopper who loved collecting anything that caught her eye. She enjoyed decorating her home with many different looks and styles. A graduate of Towson State in 1965, she went on to teach art in Baltimore City Public Schools for 30 years. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Parkton, the Hereford Senior Center, and the Woman's Club of Glyndon, Maryland. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
