With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Victor “Vic” Vlahos, born August 11, 1959, in Chicago, IL. A man whose greatest joy in life was his grandkids.
Victor shared 46 years of marriage with Elizabeth Vlahos, and together they raised three children: Nicholas (Natalie) Vlahos, Christina Vlahos (Joe Mills), and Ali Vlahos (Todd Creal). He was a hardworking man who devoted himself fully to providing for his family, always taking pride in ensuring they were cared for and supported.
Nothing brought him more happiness than being a grandpa. His six grandchildren—Nicholas, Anthony, Vinny, Rylie, Cooper, and Josephine—were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether attending sporting events, dressing up as Santa and the Grinch for Christmas, or simply being silly.
Victor was also a passionate fan of Chicago sports. When he wasn't watching a game, he could often be found on the golf course or enjoying summers at Fish Lake Beach with his family.
He is deeply missed and forever loved by his sisters, Maria (Paul) Waidzunas and Lisa White, and all of his family.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
