Virginia Claire "Ginny" Carr passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Born on April 29, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ginny lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
A lifelong educator, Ginny devoted her career to shaping young minds and fostering a love of learning. Her commitment to education was not just a profession but a calling—one that she embraced with grace and purpose throughout her life. Her influence extended far beyond the classroom, touching the lives of countless students and colleagues who remember her with admiration and gratitude.
Ginny was a very kind and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is lovingly remembered by her son Jesse Coscia and grandson Giovanni Coscia. She also leaves behind her stepsons Graham Carr and Stephen Carr; niece Jo Anne Fante; and nephew Matt Fante. Her warmth and generosity created lasting bonds with those around her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Colin Carr and her sister Judy Fante. Their memories remained close to Ginny's heart throughout her life.
