Walter Richter

Walter (Rock) Richter of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2026 at the age of 79. He was born on March 11,1947, to his parents, Russell and Ruth (Ennis) Richter in Southwest Philadelphia. He was a U.S. AirForce Veteran where he obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Later, he worked and retired from Acme Markets where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth (Blundin) Richter. Walter was an avid sports fan supporting the Phillies and Eagles, enjoyed golfing, and spending some time at a casino. He is predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, parents, Russell and Ruth, brother, Russell, sister, Ruthann, son, Walter Richter JR. He is survived by his daughter Shannon (Fred) Kunze and his sons Daniel (Tanya) Richter, and Kevin (Erin) Archer, along with 12 grandchildren, 2 nieces, a loving extended family and friends.
