Wanda Deen, born September 9, 1942, to Robbie and William Schreffler, passed away peacefully in her home on November 17, 2025. A woman of remarkable resilience and deep faith, she lived a life defined by hard work, unconditional love, and an enduring connection to the simple beauties of the world.
Wanda was a pillar of strength for her family, facing life's "seasons" with grace—from the courage required to overcome lung cancer to the wisdom gained through surviving profound heartbreaks. She found her greatest joys in nature's gifts, whether fishing, gardening, or embarking on spontaneous adventures with those she held dear.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Ann Ashley, and her brother, William Schreffler. Her legacy of laughter and steady guidance lives on through her surviving family:
Sons of her late daughter Laura: Brian (Nichole) Brandal; Joshua (Esther) Ashley and children Liany and Alyana; Daniel (Brittany) Ashley and son Gaylan.
Son: Ralph (Terry) Hansen.
Daughter: Glenda and son Benjamin Crysup.
Son: Wayne (Tina) Hansen; children Cassidy (Jason) Tonning and children Victoria, Xaden, and Xaviana; Hart (Emmie) Hansen and son Sam; Gabe (Andi) Hansen and son Quincy.
Brother: Edward (Marlene) Schreffler.
Wanda lived a full and blessed life, leaving behind a foundation of love that will be cherished by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and lifelong friends "forever and two days."
