Wayne Llewellyn, born on July 22, 1954, in Yuma, Arizona, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on April 8, 2026, in Taos, New Mexico. He was 71 years old.

A lifelong follower of Jesus, Wayne was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he found great joy and purpose in serving his community. For 17 years, he shared his love of music as an active member of the church choir, enriching services with his voice and dedication.

Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 32 years, Christina Llewellyn (née Gutierrez), with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. He was also predeceased by his sister Patricia Gomez (née Llewellyn), his father David Llewellyn, and his mother Sarah Llewellyn (née Miller).

He is survived by his son David "Robert" Llewellyn; his daughter Lisa Llewellyn; his cherished granddaughter Veronica; and his brother William Llewellyn. Wayne's love extended beyond immediate family to include many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Wayne's life was marked by devotion—to his faith, to his family, and to the values he held dear. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, April 12th at 11 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church:
