In Loving Memory;
A life-long farmer, Wayne McFarlane, age 69, passed away on February 1, 2025 at the Madera ranch that he was raised on and spent his entire life farming and managing.
Wayne, the son of John L and Maxine McFarlane, was born on September 11, 1955. Growing up on the ranch in Madera, Ca at a very early age Wayne began working with his father in the vineyard, farming the land which he then continued to farm throughout his life.
Wayne was a loving father of his two sons, John and Joseph. Wayne and his former wife Neenah raised their family in the foothills of Clovis, Ca, providing them guidance, supporting their passions, and celebrating their accomplishments. Wayne was extremely proud of the responsible young men his two sons have become.
Wayne loved watching old westerns and listening to sports talk radio, baseball, and football, he had a lifelong passion for hunting, fishing, and camping, and always loved a good buffet. Wayne could strike up a conversation with anyone, he had the gift of gab and truly never met a stranger, he loved to chat and share his humor, wit and knowledge with friends, neighbors, his son's, and anyone that would listen.
Wayne is survived by his sons; John L. McFarlane, Joseph McFarlane (Casey), granddaughter; Rylie and brother; John P. McFarlane.
Wayne is preceded in death by his father and mother; John L. and Maxine McFarlane and sister; Grace Ann Minnena.
Family and friends celebrated and honored Wayne at a graveside service on February 20, 2025 at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis Ca.
