Weldon "Bud" Bailey Vivian, 89, passed away on December 2, 2025, in Sarasota, Florida. He was born on August 24, 1936, in Oak Park, Illinois, and lived a long, full life centered around the things he always said mattered most: God, Family, and Country.
Bud is survived by his wife, Frances A Tarantino Vivian, his sister Beverly (Thomas), his three children—William (Sandy), Susan (Stephen), and Patricia (Greg)—and six grandchildren: Julie, Jacqueline (Dominick), Bradley (Ashley), Ashley, Katherine (Brittney), and Claire. He also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren who brought him so much joy.
Bud's faith guided him throughout his life, and he was a true American patriot through and through. He loved model trains and could get lost in that world for hours, but nothing ever meant more to him than time spent with his family.
He was steady, loving, and completely devoted to the people he cared about. We're grateful for the life he lived, the example he set, and the love he gave so effortlessly. He will be deeply missed.
