Wendy Marie Place

Wendy Marie Place, 57, of Mill Creek, Washington, passed away on January 2, 2026, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Born July 1968 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Wendy will be remembered for her exceptional kindness and sense of humor.

Wendy's greatest joy in life was her sons, Jalen and Owen. Her love for them was boundless, and she dedicated herself to being a devoted and supportive mother.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Jalen and Owen; her mother Muriel Place; her sisters Robin (Matt) DeLaVergne, Michelle (Bud) Sheets, Kelly (Rob) Picklesimer, Jennifer (Andrew) Botts; and her brother, Michael (Stephanie) Place. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, her BFF Daira Speer, and extended family members.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Dale Place.

An Open House in celebration of Wendy's life will be held Saturday, Feb 21st, 4:00 - 7:00pm @ Hidden Meadows, 11805 Springhetti Road, Snohomish, WA 98296.
