Wesley Tawlks

Wesley Tawlks, 70, passed away surrounded by his family on December 6, 2025.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on August 3, 1955, Wesley was a 1973 graduate of Thornridge High School in Dolton, Illinois. He spent his career at Nabisco, retiring after 35 years of service as a mechanic and work leader.

Wesley was a man of many interests. He enjoyed working with power tools and had a lifelong passion for cars and motorcycles. When not working with his hands, he was an avid reader with a specific interest in history and Abraham Lincoln. He loved to watch Chicago sports as well as movies.

He was known for his big personality and a unique sense of humor. Wesley was the type of person who would talk to anyone about anything, and was quick to help his family and neighbors with a project.

He is survived by his wife, Adana; his two daughters, Ameliah and Abigail; and his two stepchildren, Rhonda and Marty.

Service Information: There will be a memorial service on December 13, 2025 at Village Baptist Church in Lake Village, Indiana.
