Willia Ann Hutchison was born in Ava, Missouri, to Elza Hutchison and Alma Keeter. She spent her early years in California before her family settled in Forsyth, Missouri. She worked in her mother's beauty shop while attending Forsyth High, where she met Darryl Dennis. After graduating high school in 1969, she attended Southwest Missouri State University and married Darryl in 1970. Together they welcomed two children, Darcie and Cameron.
Willia was a lifelong adventurer with a deep love for nature, travel, and learning. She trained as an air traffic controller, earned her private pilot's license, and built a successful gourmet food business with Darryl. They traveled the country, forming friendships everywhere they lived including Missouri, Florida, and Texas until they parted ways in 2010.
In Austin, Texas, Willia found joy in competitive country dancing and made many new friends, including Kenneth Kruse. Willia and Ken were married on November 11, 2011, at 11:11 AM, a time of day that held special significance for her. They spent a decade raising their daughter Abby, traveling in their motor home, and building Barton Creek Crossing, another thriving gourmet food company. After selling the business, they retired to their dream home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Dillard, Georgia.
After Ken's passing in 2020, Willia moved to Florida to be near her children and grandchildren. In March of 2025, she and Peter Ryner hosted a wedding ceremony on a boat in Tampa Bay.
On November 28, 2025, Willia passed into the loving arms of the Lord. She lived with courage, creativity, and an open heart.
She is survived by her children Darcie and Josef Koller, Cameron and Jennifer Dennis, Abby Kruse, Collin and Dana Kruse, and Evan Kruse; her brother Brandt Hutchison; her grandchildren, Madison, Sean, Ellison, and Lincoln Koller, Isabella and River Dennis, and Cayden and Ryker Kruse; and Peter Ryner.
A private memorial service will be held for Willia in celebration of her life.
