William Charles Becker, born on May 7, 1929, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 96. A resident of Pittsburgh for many years, he later retired to sunny, Cape Coral, Florida, where he continued to embrace life's adventures.

William is survived by his loving daughters, Karen (Larry) Harrington, Janet (Rick) Recktenwald and Lynn (Harry) Bell, along with his cherished grandchildren, Erik, Trevor, Devon, Sean and Luke. He is also remembered by his beloved sisters, Mary Lou Heisler, and Deanna Held, brother-in-law Robert Held, his dear companion, Wanda Corbett along with adored nephews and nieces.

William was predeceased by his son, William Becker; his parents, William and Grace Becker; and his wives; Anita Giordano, the mother of his children, and Elizabeth Bergeron.
He also mourned the loss of his brother-in-law, Charles Heisler, and many dear family members and friends.

A dedicated tool and die maker by trade, Bill was an adventurer at heart who lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for boating, flying his private plane, traveling, dancing and relishing every moment and experience. His personal motto: "You can do anything you put your mind to", served as an inspiration to those around him.

William proudly served in the Armed Forces overseas, showcasing his commitment, not only to his country, but also to his community and family.

He served as an officer at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Cape Coral and enjoyed many years of companionship and entertainment with fellow members.

He spent his last two years in independent living with his companion, Wanda, at Highpoint, a senior community in Cape Coral. His daughters want to acknowledge and send thanks to the lively residents and to the caring and committed staff. who all greatly enriched his life. Special thanks to The VA and BrightStar, who provided incredible home care. Your help allowed him to enjoy the last few years of his life.

His humor, kindness, authenticity, and spirited nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of life will be held in the Pittsburgh area with a date and time to be determined.

A niche in his memory will be engraved on the Veterans Memorial Wall at the Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery in Cape Coral, Florida.
