William (Bill) Clyde Randle, 82, passed away July 24 at his home, surrounded by his family. Bill was born April 10, 1943, to Charles William Randle and Clara Leote Bell (Whitehead) Randle of Clark County, and was raised in Wyaconda. He was united in marriage to Marilyn (Garrett) Howe on July 17, 1983. She survives at their home.

Bill worked in the tire business most of his life at ABC Bandag and Mid-States Retreaders.

Over the years, Bill coached his children, grandchildren and many other children in baseball and softball, enjoying every minute. Other hobbies included a passion for hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Bill was a member of Rock Falls Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years and was active in the choir. One of his favorite songs was "One Day at a Time," which became a favorite quote in his final days.

Bill read his Bible faithfully and was ready and prepared to meet his Lord and Savior. He looked forward to being reunited with his loved ones who had gone on before him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; sister, Janet Elder; and daughter, Jenifer Howe.

In addition to his wife, Bill's survivors include his brother, Carl (Gayle) Randle; sister, Eva (John) Erickson; and children, BJ (Monica) Randle, Jerri Dawn (Randle) Wilson, Kerri (Danny) Adkins, Toni (Randy) Lewis, Bobbi Jo (Brandon) Randall and Brad (Audrie) Howe.

Other survivors include his grandchildren, four of whom he raised as his own after their mother had passed: Chase Howe; Conner, Winter and Zalie Gregory; Tina Andrews; Jeff Randle; Maria Hall; Danielle McCrorey; Jonn and Jordan Adkins; Jeremy Hazel; Justin and Rachel Lewis; Curtis Sansom; Lori Hees; Darrick and Dalton Randall; Ariel Ogden; and Brooklyn, Gabe and Ryder Howe. He also is survived by 28 greatgrandkids and two great-great-grandkids.

Bill loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially great-grandson Damian Wyse, who was his little buddy; and sweet great granddaughter Jenifer Wyse, with whom he made wonderful memories at their home over the last few years.

Services will be Saturday, Aug. 2, at Rock Falls Church with visitation set for 10-11 a.m., and a memorial and celebration of life at 11. No cemetery to follow, as Bill wanted to be cremated and have his ashes placed at his grandparent's farm where he grew up in Wyaconda, which will take place the following weekend.
