William Douglas Bradley, 82, of Peoria, Arizona, went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 18, 1943 in Ft. Worth, Texas, he was the beloved son of Nancy Elizabeth and Grady Bradley. He served our country in the Marine Corp and later was a dedicated Systems Engineer in the banking industry. He was known for his integrity, strong work ethic, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met.
A devoted Christian, Doug lived his life grounded in faith and found strength and guidance in his relationship with Jesus Christ. His faith shaped the way he loved his family, served others, and faced life’s challenges. He often shared words of encouragement and trusted in God’s promises, holding close the assurance of eternal life through Christ.
He married the love of his life, LaDonna Madison on February 10, 1966 and together they built a home centered on faith, love, and family. He was a devoted father to Jennifer, Darin and Leslie and a proud grandfather to Bradley and Brooke. His greatest joy was time spent with his family, his pups and on the golf course where he also enjoyed watching his grandchildren thrive in the game.
In addition to golf, Doug enjoyed painting and produced many beautiful works of art. A man of few words, he will be remembered for his generosity, steady presence, humor, unconditional love, wisdom and compassion. Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing he is rejoicing in heaven and hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
He is survived by his loving wife, LaDonna Bradley of Peoria, Arizona; his daughter, Jennifer McGlasson (Blake) of Peoria, Arizona; and two cherished grandchildren Bradley McGlasson and Brooke McGlasson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Bradley; his mother Nancy Elizabeth Bradley; his sisters Marie Easter and Doris Whitworth; brother Claude Bradley; son, Darin Bradley; and daughter Leslie Garnica.
A small burial service celebrating his life and faith will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on March 5, 2026 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gompers in the name of his son Darin Bradley.
We take comfort in the promise of Scripture: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” (John 11:25)
He was so profoundly loved and will be deeply missed. We rejoice in the hope that days before his passing he shared with family friends he was ready and excited to meet the lord.
We are deeply grateful to all who offered support, prayers, and kindness during this time. Though he is gone, his legacy of integrity and compassion will live on. Rest in peace. Until we meet again.
