William Henry Brightman

“Billy” William Henry Brightman Jr., 75, of Hinckley, Minnesota, passed away on February 24, 2026, after a short illness.

Billy was born on October 14, 1950, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Dorothea and William Brightman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy; and his brother, John. He is survived by his sister, Aileen.

Billy found his peace living up north, surrounded by the quiet of the woods. He enjoyed being outdoors and lived an independent life, doing things his own way. Known for his unique sense of humor and strong sense of self, Billy always knew what he wanted. He appreciated the simple - things nature, solitude, and good company when it mattered.

Per Billy’s wishes, no formal services will be held. In his memory, raise a glass and visit your favorite bartender at Great Creek Tavern in Cloverdale.
