Obituary for William 'Bill' Everette Clark

William Everette Clark passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024. He was 62. Bill was born on March 29, 1962, in Alexandria, Virginia. After his family moved, he grew up in Santa Clara, California.

In his youth, he enjoyed playing baseball and football. He especially excelled at baseball and his athletic prowess led to decades on the field. He found joy in participating on numerous softball teams, often playing on three or more teams each season, where he made lasting friendships.

Bill was a skilled Journeyman Machinist, a title he proudly earned in his early 20s. He was a very gifted machinist. He worked for several Bay Area shops before relocating to the Sacramento area, and was often recruited by shops as a result of his industry reputation.

Bill was an adept woodworker, loved music, attending concerts, and was an avid sports fan, particularly the San Jose Sharks, San Francisco Giants and Nascar racing.

Known for his green thumb, Bill maintained a bountiful garden, sharing its produce generously with those around him. He was especially known for his delicious zucchini bread. One of his greatest passions was fishing, where he found solace and happiness. He also had a unique interest in robots. He led youths in sharing his knowledge on building robots which also led to entering them in local competitions.

Bill loved his family and was a proud father of three daughters. As a father, Bill often took his daughters camping, creating special memories and traditions on their trips.

Bill spent his last several years in Ione, California where he is fondly remembered for his kindness and unwavering support to his neighbors, friends, and community.

Bill is survived by his three beloved daughters, Katelyn, Leyna, and Lexi; and his two sisters, Julie and Donna. He is preceded in death by his parents, Beverly Ann and Everette Murice Clark.

Numerous family members and friends remain to cherish his memory and celebrate the impact he had on their lives. He will be deeply missed.
