William Robert Hack

William "Bill" Hack died peacefully on September 26, surrounded by his family. He was 83. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Joan, his son, Peter, and his daughters, Terry and Kathy, as well as many cherished grandchildren. Bill grew up and spent most of his life in New Jersey. He was a lifeguard on the Jersey Shore, a drill sergeant in the US Army, and a senior accountant. Bill was an early adopter of computerized accounting and was a Lotus 1,2,3 guru. He coached soccer, was an avid ocean swimmer and body surfer, saltwater fisherman, and loved to watch boxing. Bill's favorite place was the beach and made sure he never lived far from the ocean waves and salt air. His greatest accomplishment was his family that he kept safe during challenging times and provided an environment to thrive and grow. Through them and generations to come, his wisdom and love will live on.
