William Hardy

William Roy “Bill” Hardy, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully went on to be with the Lord on January 2, 2026. He was born on January 20, 1941, in Tollesborough, West Virginia.

Bill was a kind and faithful servant of God whose gentle, loving nature left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Known affectionately for his “teddy bear” personality, he brought warmth and compassion into every room he entered. His life was a testament to quiet strength and unwavering faith.

A devoted member of Kingdom Culture Ministries church in Louisville, Bill found great joy and purpose in his spiritual community. His commitment to his faith guided his actions and relationships throughout his life.

Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda Hardy; his sister, Joan Schuster; step-sons, Tony Grubbs and Tim Garrett (Kara Voit); daughter-in-law, Beth Hardy; granddaughter, Ashley Rock; and grandsons, Dane Marsh and Cody Hardy. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Genevieve Hardy; his twin sister, Nancy Denison; sister, Patricia Hardy; and both of his sons, Ricky Hardy and Brad Hardy.

May the memory of Bill bring comfort to those who mourn his passing and inspiration to those who carry forward the example of love and faith he so graciously lived.

A memorial reception will be held on January 17, 2026, from 1pm - 4pm EST at Kingdom Culture Ministries, 11861 Commonwealth Drive, Louisville, KY 40299.
