William Remo Moffa, Jr., 55, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 due to complications of pneumonia and asthma.
Bill graduated from DelCastle High School in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1988. He was trained in graphic art, but was happiest when he was working as a sous chef. A perpetual jokester, Bill was known for his love of silly videos, tattoos, baseball, cooking, and animals. Bill leaves behind his fiancée Eden Franchitti and their beloved teacup Yorkie, Emmy.
He is survived by his daughter Katie (Justin), his granddaughter Aubree, his grandson (expected in March), his mother Claire, his sister Jenifer (Alex) and nephew Anthony. He was predeceased by his father, William Remo Sr.
In accordance with Bill’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. His family and friends will be invited to participate in a celebration of life event to be held after his grandson is born.
Although Bill struggled with addiction, he finally conquered it, and recently celebrated 9 years of sobriety. He spoke often of his journey through addiction and the impact it had on his life and health. He worked hard every day to stay in recovery, and regarded his sobriety as one of his greatest accomplishments. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to either an addiction recovery center or an animal shelter of their choice.
