William H. Stalker, 81, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2026, due to complications from heart surgery. Born on March 29, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, William lived a life defined by devoted service to others, both in uniform and in his community. He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Jones of New Albany and his father William W. Stalker of Birmmingham, Al. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Stalker of Austin, Texas, sister Eve Stalker of Alabama, Sally Messing, sister and her husband Paul of Bloomington, Indiana, wife Kimberlea Stalker of Concan, Texas and her three children and grandchildren.

William (Bill) distinguished himself early through his commitment to excellence and duty, graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point with the Class of 1966. He went on to attend the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and later obtained a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from George Washington University. His pursuit of knowledge and his dedication to the dental profession were matched only by his devotion to his country. After spending many years in distinguished military service, William transitioned to private practice, establishing his own dental office in Olmos Park in the San Antonio area in 1986. For over four decades, he served generations of patients with skill, warmth, and genuine care.

Those who knew William remembered him as a deeply charismatic man who found his greatest fulfillment in helping others. Whether in the dental chair, among friends, or in the company of strangers who quickly became friends, he possessed a natural ability to put people at ease and make them feel valued. Beyond his professional life, William was a man of adventure and curiosity. He was an avid traveler who delighted in exploring new places and cultures, and he harbored a passionate love for scuba diving, finding peace and wonder beneath the waves.

William's faith was a quiet but steady presence in his life, grounding him through seasons of service, challenge, and joy. He carried with him a spirit of generosity and compassion that reflected the values he held dear.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church in San Antonio 825 E Basse Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209 at three olock . The family invites all who knew and loved William to gather in his memory.

William H. Stalker will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of service, kindness, and adventure will endure in the hearts of those he touched. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
