Wilma Jean Heaton passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, at the age of 73, in Blue River, Oregon. Born on July 31, 1952, Wilma was known for her caring, compassionate, protective, and loving nature. She was a devoted mother and a proud patriot, reflecting her deep connection to the military community through her 20-year association as a spouse to Milton H. Heaton Sr., a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Wilma leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. She is survived by her former husband, Milton H. Heaton Sr., and their children: Milton H. Heaton Jr. and his wife Tatiana Heaton, Christina C. Heaton, Heath C. Heaton, and Brandon C. Heaton. Her love extended to her grandson, Ryan Heaton, and daughter-in-law, Amenna Harris. Wilma also leaves behind her siblings, Kathy Wallace, Tina Caldera, Byron Wenning, and Duane Springer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Springer, her uncle, Alvin Fry, aunt, Donnabell J. Fry, and brother, William "Bill" Carter.
Wilma found joy in shopping at second-hand stores, always managing to discover the best gifts for her friends and family. Her dedication to staying connected with her loved ones and supporting them in any way possible was the cornerstone of her life.
