Zachary Quinn Hendrickson, 44, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home on March 3, 2026. Zach was known for his gentle spirit, kindness, and sense of humor. He had a natural ability to connect with people and brought warmth and enthusiasm to those around him. He was a beloved father, son, husband, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.
Zach was born on November 28, 1981, in Boulder, Colorado. During his childhood he lived in several places with his family, including Rochester, New York, and Rochester Hills, Michigan, before returning to Colorado. He graduated from Highlands Ranch High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Zach worked in customer support for a technology company, where he became a supervisor managing a team. His role allowed him to work remotely, and he spent time living in Key Largo, Florida with his future wife, Rachel Hendrickson. Zach loved the ocean and cherished the time he spent living near the water.
Zach and Rachel later returned to Colorado, where they married and welcomed their first daughter, Alifair. When Rachel received a job opportunity in West Palm Beach, Florida, the family relocated there. During their time in Florida they welcomed their second daughter, Oriana. In 2023, the family moved back to Colorado, where they continued raising their daughters.
Above all, Zach loved being a father. His daughters were the center of his world, and he cherished the time he spent with them—sharing music, cheering on sports teams, and enjoying everyday moments together.
Zach loved sports and music. He was a devoted fan of Denver’s professional sports teams and was always a joy to watch games with, bringing energy, humor, and contagious enthusiasm to every matchup. Music was also very meaningful to him, and he loved sharing songs that resonated with him with the people he cared about.
Zach is survived by his daughters, Alifair (8) and Oriana (3); their mother, Rachel Hendrickson; his parents, Mark and Celeste Hendrickson; his brother, Derek Hendrickson; and his grandfather, Robert Hendrickson. His grandparents affectionately called him “ZQ.”
The legacy of his kind heart will live on through his family and friends.
