ZANA RENAK (HARRISON)
A LIFE ALWAYS TO BE REMEMBERED

Zana Marie Renak (Harrison); a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and unforgettable friend, went on to be with Jesus Christ Our Lord and Eternal Glory on September 3, 2025 after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Zana was born to Bob and Charotte Harrison in Deerlodge, MT on Dec 20, 1961. Zana was the seventh of eight children. Her family later moved to Idaho Falls, ID where Zana excelled in high school basketball, choir, and musical productions. She played the guitar, wrote and sang her own songs, and received the Most Talented Award as recognized by her classmates.

Zana was a member of the Idaho Falls Calvary Baptist Church while in elementary school where she was inspired by Virginia Berg to become a believer and follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ms. Berg was Zana’s mentor and life-long friend together serving the Lord and the Backyard Bible Camp Ministry which led countless children to the Saving Knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Zana was raising her three children (Brittney, Chelsey, Tyler) while entering college where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nuclear Security. Soon after Zana met her soulmate and husband of 37 years, Todd Renak, and his three children (Adam, Erin, and Lettie).

Zana thoroughly enjoyed being the ‘stay at home’ Mom loving and caring for her children. Zana encouraged and participated in many outdoor adventures with the kids … bike rides, hikes in the woods, climbing trees, rescuing injured animals, driving to baseball or soccer games or school plays … you name it and Zana loved being part of our kids’ world; the heart and soul of our family.

Zana loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, camping, riding 4-wheelers in the mountains, and religiously supporting every Harrison Family reunion. Zana was usually the center of attraction - singing songs, telling stories, entertaining her nieces and nephews, and playing practical jokes on deserving siblings.

Zana and Todd became owners of SELAH GROUP, Inc. in 1994, an Engineering Consulting firm, while in Idaho Falls and moved to Rockledge, FL in 2003 so Zana could enjoy the warm sunny beaches and to better serve clients such as NASA and Florida Power & Light. Zana loved swimming in the ocean and hanging out with family and friends at the beach.

New Florida friends experiencing Zana’s beautiful powerful voice and ‘theatrical’ nature, insisted she try out for some of the local musical productions. Thereafter Zana was cast and performed major singing and dancing roles in well known Musicals including EVITA and LI’L ABNER at the Cocoa Beach Surfside Playhouse and Cocoa Village Theatre.

Zana and Todd became active members the Rockledge Faith Baptist Church in 2006 where they both served in the choir and community outreach ministries. Zana was very much at home at Faith Baptist, maturing in her walk with Christ, and actively supporting the Christian Women and Evangelical ministries. And everyone in the congregation loved when Zana’s powerful, spirit-filled voice would ‘raise the rafters’ while performing gospel specials to worship the Lord.

Zana, well known for her point-blank, non-sugar coated opinions, spontaneous outbursts of song, unconventional remarks, and fun-filled banter, captured the attention and appreciation of most everyone she met. Zana was an incredible force of spiritual and joyful energy whose zeal for life and especially our Lord Jesus, was infectious. Whether she was in church, on a street corner, or seeing a homeless person; Zana would never miss the opportunity to offer comfort, prayer, and the good news of Jesus Christ to those in need. Zana was incredible with all kids with her amazing child-like spirit and always ready to listen, encourage, and offer Christ-like guidance to admiring teenagers and young adults.

Even during her most painful days of cancer treatment; Zana’s fearless and unending faith, her hugs, her kisses and her overwhelming spirit inspired us all to smile, despite our tears and grief, and be comforted with the certainty of her new eternal life in Glory.

Zana is joined in Heaven with her beautiful Mom (Charlotte Harrison Hayes) and her Dad (Bob Harrison).

Zana is survived by her husband Todd, six children: Brittney Bybee, Chelsey Witters (Craig), Tyler Renak (Rachel), Adam Renak (Mandy), Erin Sabala (John), and Lettie Renak; nine grandchildren (Tyanna Bonis, Tyrus Bonis, Ellamae Bybee, Cole Witters, Carlie Witters, Mikeala Wachi, Marly Renak, Jace Renak, and Rory Sabala), great granddaughter Noa Wachi, and seven siblings: Sherri Rojas, Sue Croft (Jerry), Vince Harrison (Betty), Greg Harrison (Diane), Charlie Harrison (Marquita), Tom Harrison (Laraine), and Kyle Harrison (Denise); and ‘countless’ nieces and nephews.

Zana Marie Renak (Harrison) a rare and beautiful spirit who touched the lives of all she encountered…

Truly … A LIFE ALWAYS TO BE REMEMBERED.

A Celebration Of Life service for ZANA will be held on February 21, 2026 (1-4PM) at:
