To the Dutcher family-

My heart sank when I heard about your Mom. All the wonderful memories from our school days immediately filled my heart and my eyes with tears. I so fondly remember hanging out at your house – your Mom always had a great presence. She knew that every kid needs to do their own thing, make their own mistakes; and more importantly every kid needs to know that she was always there for them. Your Mom set a great foundation, she was awesome. So warm and so caring. My heart goes out to you and your family. With great sadness and love~Barbara Fong

I will always remember how Uncle Jim and Aunt Marilyn graciously opened their home and their lives to me while I completed a one year internship at Regions Hospital back in 1991.
Coming from the small town of Alpena Michigan and moving to the Twin Cities was somewhat of a culture shock to me, but Uncle Jim and Aunt Marilyn took the time and made the effort to help me get acquainted with my new surroundings.
I recall Uncle Jim and Aunt Marilyn inviting me to tag along with them on numerouis family events, dinners and movies, Timberwolves games and even game number 7 of the 1991 Twins World Series!!
WOW!! Jim and Marilyn made my first year here in the Twin Cities a great and exciting time for me! Thankyou!!
My heartfelt condolances go out to my Uncle Jim, my cousins Brian, Diane, Judi, Barb and their families.
Aunt Marilyn's presence in out lives was a true blessing and she will be missed by many.

Jim and family: Craig and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of Marilyn, who we both will always remember as such a great lady, so kind to us so many years ago when we were just hick newlyweds in the big city!

We can only imagine how much such a warm, genuine and generous lady will be missed by her family now.

Our prayers are with your family in your time of loss.
