Florine Denson Russell

RUSSELL Mrs. Florine Denson Russell a native of Mobile, Alabama and a 1956 graduate of Central High School, passed away on September 23, 2010 after a brief illness. Mrs. Russell resided for many years in Huntsville, Alabama and recently returned to her hometown of Mobile, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents Rollie and Christine Denson, her brothers R.L., Lester and Ronald Denson. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ecolia Russell; five children, Constance Russell, Rodney (Lois) Russell, Dana (Sebastian) High, Terri (Malcolm) Washington and Katrina Russell; six brothers, Curtis (Lorraine), Isell, Lawyer, Roland, Vernon (Felice), and Larry Denson; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Monday, September 27, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitations will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at 12 noon until 12:30 with funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. at the Small's Mortuary Chapel, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, AL. Entombment will follow the Pine Crest Mausoleum, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL.
