Sibbieo Pruitt Obituary
Sibbieo Clay Pruitt, 81, passed away Saturday in Broadview, Ill.
Sibbieo was born in Huntsville, educated in Madison County Schools, graduated from Alabama A&M University and Governors State University in Chicago. After a long career in education, she retired from the public schools of Maywood, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Pruitt Sr.; her daughter, Brendetta Jardan; her parents, Theodore Roosevelt Clay and Bennie Lacey Clay; stepmother, Frances Rice Clay; and sisters, Thelma Clay, Odell Clay Huguley and Dr. Elnora Clay Lanier.
She is survived by her son, Earl Pruitt Jr.; grandson, Freeman Jardan II; granddaughters, Cristina Pruitt, Sibbieo Jardan and Alana Jardan; devoted son-in-law, Dr. Freeman Jardan; brothers, Dr. Theodore R. Clay and the Rev. John L. Clay; and sisters, Johnnie Clay Battle, Edmonia Clay Lankford and Geraldine Clay Tibbs.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with funeral services following at 11 a.m. at Broadview Missionary Baptist Church in Broadview.
Wallace Broadview Funeral Home of Broadview is in charge of arrangements.

I am sad to hear about the passing of Sibbieo Pruitt. I am a childhood friend of her grandson and enjoyed to see her in the winter when she came to Texas
