Juan Cambero

CAMBERO - Juan B. Cambero, aged 88, of Grand Rapids passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011. Juan was a gentle and loving husband, father and grandfather. He had the faith of Abraham and the patience of Job. He always had a warm smile, handshake and an incredibly contagious happy attitude that transcended all languages. Anyone that interacted with him fell in love with his humor, sense of adventure and the pure enjoyment that a good meal brought him. It was a joy to be around him! He loved the Lord and served Him faithfully his whole life. We look forward to Christ's second coming to be united with one of the most beautiful human beings this earth has been blessed with. He was preceded in death by his son, Juan Jose Cambero, and brothers, Luis and David Cambero. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carmen; daughter, Arelis and Andre Diaz; son, Henry and Eleibny Cambero; grandchildren, Monica, Ramon, and Jessica Diaz, and Zaskia Cambero; his brother, Daniel Cambero and Juan's twin brother, Jose Cambero; and a host of friends who to Juan were the same as family. Juan's wishes were to donate his body to science for medical students to learn. A memorial service will be held Saturday 5:00 p.m. at the Wyoming Spanish SDA Church, 1235 Grandville Ave. S.W.
