BARND, Dorothy D. "Dottie"
Age 89
Of Loveland, Colorado

Passed away at the McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Dorothy Irene Barnd was born in Denver, Colorado on August 6, 1921 to Otto Verle and Dora Irene (Lyons) Dobson. She met and later married Robert C. "Barney" Barnd in Chicago, Illinois on April 17, 1943. Robert's "Barney's" occupation afforded Barney and Dottie to live in various locations including Ohio, Michigan, California, and London, England. They moved to Loveland in October 2007 from Fresno, California. Surviving are Dottie's husband, Robert "Barney" Barnd of Loveland; daughter, Judith Ann "Judy" (Stephen) Doty
of Loveland and sons, David J. (Linda) Barnd of San Antonio, Texas, Michael V. (Mary) Barnd of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A service will be held 4:00
PM, Saturday, at the Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home. Cremation will follow with inurnment in the Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, Ohio. Memorial contributions are requested to the American Heart Association in care of Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO 80537.
