Kristin Ebaugh Obituary

Dec. 16, 1970 - Dec. 25, 2011
Kristin C. Ebaugh
Kristin Colleen Ebaugh, age 41 of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011, in the comfort of her home with her mother Helen and her beloved pets, Tiger, Aubie, and Roxie, by her side.
Kristin was born in Hammond, Indiana, moved to Lilburn, GA at the age of 7 and happily grew up there, graduating from Shiloh High School. She left Georgia when she attended Auburn University. Kristin graduated from Auburn with a degree in Human Resource Management and a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology. While attending Auburn she was a Sigma Pi Fraternity Little Sister and worked as a student Athletic Trainer.
In Huntsville, Kristin attended Huntsville First United Methodist Church. She became a Junior League member in 2007 and served most recently on the Apple Annie Committee. Kristin was on the Huntsville Young Professional Board of Directors from 2006-2010 and served as Secretary and Premier Events Chair. She enjoyed playing kickball with friends and was a member of the 2011 GoKickball Championship Team. Kristin was an employee at DIRECTV in the Human Resources department. She loved the community of Huntsville, and the community of friends and co-workers that surrounded her there. They in turn held her in high regard, as she touched the lives of many people.
Kristin was happiest when she was spending time with her friends and family at the beach or Lake Guntersville. Animals and children always made her smile. She will be a forever fan of the Auburn Tigers, Philadelphia Eagles and the Chicago Cubs.
Kristin is survived by her mother Helen Ebaugh; brother Mark Ebaugh (Dagmar); nephew Max; niece Lily; aunt Mary Hatlevig (Doug); uncle Mike Ebaugh (Marlys); uncle Chris HInders (Barb); uncle LeRoy Hinders (Terry); and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Jane Ebaugh and her father, Bill Ebaugh.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Phillip McGee, Layla Beverly, Clearview Cancer Institute, and Hospice Family Care.
The family will host a memorial service in honor, memory, and celebration of Kristin in early spring. More information will be shared with family, friends, and co-workers at a later date.
