Irma Jackson Obituary

JACKSON Mrs. Irma C. Jackson, age 81, a native of Atmore, Alabama and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. She was a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband of 56 years, Morris Jackson; children, Steve (DiAnna) Jackson, Kathy (Wayne) Jones, Pam (Tommy) Shaver; brother, Willie Caraway Jr.; ten grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Dauphin Way Baptist Church. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneral home.com.

Dad, I want to thank you for the love that you demonstrated for Mom for the whole time that I have known you. I especially want to thank you for the love you showed these last several years when Mom faced numerous challenges in terms of her health. I have many wonderful memories of the time that we spent together as a family.
