Fronefield and his wife Sue, Dr. Stephen Fronefield and his wife Diane, four grandchildren, Daniel Fronefield, Alicia Englert and her husband Joshua, Carson Fronefield and Ethan Fronefield. Mr. Fronefield was born December 17, 1931 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and was raised in Wayne near Philadelphia. He and his wife have been residents of Huntsville since 1968.
Mr. Fronefield received his Aeronautical Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He received his master's degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Ted served in the US Air Force and was employed by the department of defense for thirty-one years.
He was a Master Mason of Solar Lodge No. 914 and a member of the Fireballs, a branch of Cahaba Shrine.
Ted never met a stranger and is loved by many. A loving husband and caring father, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will live on through the memories of the all people he touched.

In lieu of flowers we know Ted would prefer donations be made to the Shrine Burn Hospital.

Aunt Betty: Uncle Ted was a character...his humor, jokes, smile, laughter and hugs will always be with me. I loved those blond joke emails. I wished I lived closer Aunt Betty...My love and prayers are with you and the family during this very very difficult time. May God continue to give you strength and peace.

We've been missing Ted and you, Betty, at our Sojourner meetings. I remember one time when Ted forgot his medal and drew one on a napkin. God bless you both. Tom Craig

Ted was an inspiration of honesty and integrity to all who knew him. He helped so many others in the lodge, and will definitely be missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathy over your loss. Brother Ted was one of the first people I met in the Fraternity, and ironically participated in my first Masonic graveside service. He was sitting Master when I became elected. I will always remember Ted for his quiet manner, quick wit, willingness to assist others in need, and, above all, diplomacy. I learned a great deal from Brother Ted and will miss him deeply.
